Description

Lynn University is now using Vonage for Business cloud service as its telephone provider. The Vonage service also comes with Amazon Chime audio and video conferencing. The Vonage service allow Lynn employee to place and receive calls, send and text message and listen to voicemails from their computer, smartphone or tablet. A physical desk phone will remain the standard for all employees. 

Students

This service is not available to students.

Faculty and Staff

Authorized employees can use their Lynn email address and Lynn password to access the Vonage web port, softphone or mobile app. The following services are available:

  • 10 digit dialing, no more 3 before the dialing out 
  • Enter your default area code, and perform 7 digit dialing for all 561 area code calls
  • HIPPA compliant eFax in the Vonage App
  • Nationwide SMS texting 
  • Voicemail and voicemail transcription 
  • Call Dashboard for directory lookup by name or extension 
  • Report on you calls handle by your extension 
  • Amazon Chime audio and video conferencing 




Please Note: Browser calling is currently disabled , you must make calls from your desk phone, softphone or mobile or tablet app.  This status will be displayed in the
