The Office of Housing and Residence Life uses eRezLife, a housing selection system, to determine the sequence in which returning students, who are required to choose their housing assignment for the upcoming academic year, can make their selections. This process operates on the basis of credit hours earned.
Students receive their specific housing selection day and time through their Lynn University email. If you have any inquiries or need assistance, feel free to reach out to the Housing and Residence Life team at housing@lynn.edu. Additionally, the Housing and Residence Life team will be available at designated tables in the University Center during all housing time slots to address any questions that may arise during the selection process.
If selection with roommates:
- The creator of each roommate group should be the person with the earliest selection time in order to have the best opportunity of getting the space desired.
- Students will only be able to select other students who are eligible to live with them.
- Capstone and Perper eligible vs. required student eligible
- Students may begin creating roommate groups and browsing rooms once they have received their lottery time.
- We suggest all members of the roommate group to be together when room selection is occurring so everyone is involved in this decision.
- The Housing Professional team will be tabling in the University Center during all housing time slots to answer any questions that come up.
Selecting Your Room
Log into your eRezLife account at https://lynn.erezlife.com using your Lynn credentials You can review your timeslot and application status by selecting the Housing overview tab.
You will find detailed information about your housing time slot, including the specific time, a countdown to your designated slot, and the ability to preview available rooms ahead of your scheduled time. This feature allows you to plan and explore housing options in advance.
Navigate the system to search for particular rooms. Vacant rooms will be clearly marked with a icon, while rooms that are unavailable to you will be indicated with a large red, no sign over this icon. This visual guide will assist you in identifying and choosing the most suitable accommodation during the selection process.
Once you select the criteria you are looking for and press search, rooms that fit your criteria will appear.
To make the room selection process easier, you can mark your favorite room(s) and view only your favorite room(s) during the housing selection process.
Once your time slot has arrived, you will be able to select your room by returning to the Housing Overview Page. Select “Only show my favorites” to look at the rooms you already favorited or search for your room.
Once your favorited rooms are showing, you will be able to click the icon to select your room. You will not be able to select any unavailable rooms.
A dialog window will be prompted with details of the selected room. Click the 'Choose this bed' button to reserve your selection. If selecting with roommates, a dialogue window will ask to place roommates.
After selecting a room, review the reservation details. If you wish to explore other room options without losing your current reservation, click the 'look at other rooms' link. Alternatively, if you decide to cancel the current room reservation and consider other available rooms, click the 'cancel this reservation and continue looking at rooms' link.
