Zoom allows for video, audio, and screen sharing between participants. It can be used from any Mac, computer, laptop, tablet, or cell phoneZoom is a cloud-based web conferencing tool for virtual conferencing and collaboration. Zoom allows face-to-face meeting using HD video conferencing. Quick Tips for Using Zoom
- If you are using an external camera and/or microphone be sure to plug them in before opening the Zoom application.
- Only one microphone and speaker system should be active per physical location.
- Be sure to mute yourself when you are not speaking.
- Use the Chat feature to ask questions without interrupting the speaker.
- You cannot record unless you are the meeting host, or the meeting host allows you permission to record.
- Student Zoom sessions will be limited 45 40 minutes unless the student request to be converted to Zoom Business account.

Faculty are granted a Zoom Business account. This allows hosting of up to 300 participants with no limits. If your business needs require additional Zoom features, please submit a request to the IT service desk. Faculty Use:
