Step-by-step guide

The Office of Housing and Residence Life uses eRezLife, a housing selection system, to determine the sequence in which returning students, who are required to choose their housing assignment for the upcoming academic year, can make their selections. This process operates on the basis of credit hours earned.

Students receive their specific housing selection day and time through their Lynn University email. If you have any inquiries or need assistance, feel free to reach out to the Housing and Residence Life team at housing@lynn.edu. Additionally, the Housing and Residence Life team will be available at designated tables in the University Center during all housing time slots to address any questions that may arise during the selection process.

Roommate Group and Selection Guidelines

  • The individual with the earliest selection time should be the creator of each roommate group to maximize the chances of securing the desired living space.
  • Students can only select roommates who are eligible to share the same space. You need to ensure everyone in your group is either Capstone  + Perper eligible OR a required, returning student.
  • Once students receive their lottery time, they can begin creating roommate groups and exploring available rooms.
  • It is recommended that all members of the roommate group participate in the room selection process together to ensure everyone is actively involved in decision-making.
  • The Housing and Residence Life team will be available at tables in the University Center during all housing time slots to address any questions or concerns that may arise during the roommate selection and room browsing process.

Selecting Your Roommate(s) and Suitemate(s)

Log into your eRezLife account at https://lynn.erezlife.com using your Lynn credentials. Before selecting your room in the housing selection process go to “Roommate groups”

Select “Create new roommate group”

Create a group name and add roommates to the roommate group by using their Lynn email address.

  • Please note: The amount of roommates in the roommate group should coincide with the amount of spaces you are looking to fill in your potential new room. Example: Perper Single = 5, EML Triple = 3
  • If you do not fill the whole room, you will still be able to select it but be advised that you will receive another student to your room. It is on a first-come first-serve basis.
  • Applicants may create more than one roommate group but will need to select their group preference by their designated time slot.

Your roommate(s) will receive an email to their Lynn email address once you request them asking them to confirm that they would like to be a part of this roommate group

Once your roommate confirms, the creator of the group needs to select the group under the roommate group tab.

You now have created a roommate group and can proceed to lottery selection.
