Mission Statement
The Office of Financial Aid supports the University’s student services, enrollment, and retention goals by providing state, institutional, and federal student aid funds to eligible students. As such, we promote student diversity by assuring access to different funding possibilities. The Office of Financial Aid assists prospective and enrolled students in obtaining the funds necessary to complete their educational objectives at Lynn University. The primary purpose of the Office of Financial Aid is to provide financial assistance within its available resources to those students who, without such assistance, would be unable to attend Lynn University. Financial aid funding plays an important role for students and families in financing an education.

2024-2025 FAFSA is here...
The new FAFSA for the 2024-2025 school year is finally here. With a more streamlined application, applying for financial aid has become easier than ever. Going from 118 to just 36 questions should simplify the process for all of our students and families. The FAFSA can now be completed online at www.studentaid.gov Have a look at our own FAFSA 2024-2025 page for more information.
1098-T's now available
Lynn University is required to file to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for each student who enrolled and for whom a reportable transaction was made on their student account, a 1098-T, Tuition Statement.
1098-T’s are now available for students to view and print online on myLynn.
We urge you to view this immediately.
1. Sign-in to your myLynn account (www.lynn.edu/mylynn)
2. Click the “Student Finances” tab (on the top)
3. Click the “1098T Tax Form” link (on the left)
4. The 1098T Tax form for 2023 is available to print (on the right)
1042s now available
1042s for our international students are now available. Log in to the FNIS website using your FNIS username and password at https://fnis.thomsonreuters.com/lynn and then click the View and Print Forms link.

Refund Request
Should a student have an excess of funds remaining on their student account after tuition and all other expenses are paid, they may be eligible to apply for a refund. Links to initiate the refund process are found below.
